1. Add guests yourself or share the guest form

You can add guests manually or share a link to a short form where they can provide their own details. Both options allow you to build your guest list before giving anyone access to the wedding space.

2. What guests enter

Guests provide their first name, last name and email address. When a plus one is available, they can also add their companion’s details.

3. How plus-one details work

Guests can add their companion’s first and last name when completing the form. They can provide the plus-one’s email address immediately or add it later through the JoinOurDay mobile app.

When no separate email address has been provided, the main guest remains the primary contact.

4. Review pending requests

Information submitted through the guest form remains pending until you review it. You can check the details before deciding whether the person should be added to the confirmed guest list.

5. Accept or decline each request

Accepting a request adds the person to your guest list. Declining it removes the request without giving the person access to your wedding.

6. Prepare your wedding privately

Before opening the wedding space to guests, you can add your locations, agenda, menu, accommodation, contacts, story cards and other practical information.

This gives you time to prepare and review everything before invitations are sent.

7. Activate invitations

Once your wedding space is ready, activate invitations and send them to the accepted guests on your list.

You decide when guests can begin joining.

8. Join through the invitation email

Each invited guest receives an email containing a personal link to the joining process. From there, they can respond to the invitation and access the wedding space.

9. Join using the wedding code

Guests can also open JoinOurDay, choose the guest path and enter the wedding code provided by the couple. They then enter the email address on the guest list and the one-time verification code sent to that email.

10. See who has joined

Check the guest list to see who has received an invitation and who has already joined the wedding space.

Added to the guest list

The guest is confirmed but does not yet have access.

Invited

The invitation has been sent, but the guest has not joined yet.

Joined

The guest can access the wedding space.

11. Resend an invitation

Resend an invitation when someone missed the original email or did not complete the joining process.

12. Add more guests later

After invitations are activated, newly added guests with email addresses are invited automatically. For guest-form requests, the primary contact receives the invitation when the request is accepted.
